Carol Lee Boham, 65, of Sunbury, died Sunday evening (March 7, 2010) at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born April 11, 1944 in Columbus and was a Delaware County resident since 1975. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed racing quarter horses and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Walter; son, Walter J. “Chip” (Christine M.) Boham of Marengo; two daughters, Tammy (Leo) Cain of Sunbury and Jeanette (Mike) Ripley of Sunbury; and five grandchildren, Josh Ripley and his fiancé Emily, Dane Ripley, Willy Cain, Maggie Cain and Emmett Cain.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Evelyn Rhodes.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services observed. The family wishes to thank the oncology nurses on the seventh floor at Riverside Methodist Hospital, the nurses with HomeReach Hospice, and the staff at the Columbus Oncology and Hematology Associates and in particular Dr. Nse Ntukidem. Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware is assisting the family.
