Yvonne “Bonnie” English, 64, of Delaware, died Saturday (March 6, 2010) at OSU Hospital, Columbus.

She was born Sept. 24, 1945 in El Paso, Texas to Jesus and Jesusita (Espenozoa) Herrrera. She had resided in Delaware for 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Amvets 104.

She is survived by her loving companion of 16 years, Charles Beyer; her children, Michelle Hicks Helman (John) Pitcox of Columbus, James (Heather) Hicks of Cardington, Bobby Hicks and David Gomes; stepsons, George, Mike, Kevin and Jimmy (Tina) Beyer; grandchildren, Ciarra Helman, Destiny, Heather and Ashley Pitcox, Derick and Devon Lyons, Justin, Patrick, Katie and Abigal; great-grandson, Colton Helman; her father, Jesus Herrera; sisters, Irma (Juan) Sanchez, Ofelia Herrera, all of El Paso, Linda (Mike) Smith of Delaware, Norma (Ruben) Corez of El Paso; brothers, Carlos Herrera of El Paso, Raul (Norma) Herrera of California, Jose (Tillie) Herrera and Robert Herrera, both of El Paso; and many dear nieces and nephews. She will be sadly and deeply missed by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister and infant brother.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Robinson Funeral Home, Delaware, where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Stover officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
